### Older Formats

A significant update was made to the [WebVMT format](https://w3c.github.io/sdw/proposals/geotagging/webvmt/) in 2023. This web page includes a utility for users with WebVMT files which pre-date this change to safely update their files.

To update older WebVMT files to the latest format:

1. Drag files to the VMT drop box below, or click the update button to choose files.
2. Updated files will be created in the web browser & downloaded.
